Family Home

Client: Private
Floor area: 214m2
Budget: £870,000
Status: Completed 2025

Studio Carnot was appointed to work on the full refurbishment of this five-storey house. The clients' vision was of a very high-end, warm and texture-rich space.

The ground floor embraces darker tones at the front creating a moody, intimate drawing room whereas the rear, more contemporary, part of the house is filled with natural light with enlarged existing openings onto the courtyard, this is where the kitchen and dining room are.

The first floor is dedicated to the parental suite with master bedroom, dressing room and ensuite. The top two floors have two further bedrooms and bathrooms for the clients' grown children. A bar can be found on the second floor with bespoke joinery and furniture which have been designed around the idea of reusing one of our clients' existing piece of furniture to create a rich, interesting and beautiful interior.
